FORBIDDEN Releases 'Burning The Lungs Of Earth' Single From Upcoming Self-Titled Album

San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal pioneers FORBIDDEN will release their new, self-titled album on October 23 via BLKIIBLK, the heavy metal imprint of Frontiers Label Group. The band's long-awaited follow-up to 2010's "Omega Wave" album was tracked at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California with engineer/co-producer Zack Ohren.

The official music video for the fourth single from "Forbidden", a song called "Burning The Lungs Of Earth", can be seen below. The clip was directed by FORBIDDEN drummer Chris Kontos and edited by Mike Sloat.

On "Burning The Lungs Of Earth", FORBIDDEN guitarist Craig Locicerocomments: "'Burning The Lungs Of Earth' is a fast-paced thrasher with complex riffs, soaring melodic vocals, thunderous drums and bass. The song mirrors the effects of mankind's natural and unnatural disasters, coupled with the planetary cycle we find ourselves in decimating our ecosystems. Corporations, politicians and greed suffocating the planet. 'First the smoke and seas will rise, the naive will remain blind. The world turns, the sun still shines as we slowly choke and die.'"
